U.S. officials have acknowledged that Washington does not consider the signing of an agreement for the transfer of Ukrainian mines to the United States as sufficient; rather, they are seeking additional concessions.

According to unnamed U.S. officials, a delegation from the United States and Ukraine is preparing to meet in Saudi Arabia this week. 

Recently, U.S. President Donald Trump stated in a private meeting with his associates that the mining agreement signed between Washington and Kyiv would not be adequate to resume assistance to war-torn Ukraine. 

These American officials clarified that Trump is focused on peace negotiations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
