Details of the meeting between the United States and Hamas have been disclosed in Doha.

 

Recently, a meeting took place between the United States and Hamas. Palestinian journalist Tamer Al-Mishal has disclosed some details regarding this meeting.

He reported that four direct meetings were held last week in Doha between the United States and Hamas. American officials requested a separate (partial) agreement for the transfer of one living American soldier and four deceased bodies. Hamas agreed to this partial agreement, demanding the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in return.

Under this agreement, American officials consented to the release of 250 Palestinian prisoners, including 100 who are serving life sentences and the remainder who have received long-term sentences.

Meanwhile, Israel seeks the right to remove 50 names from the list of those serving life sentences. However, Hamas has stipulated that it will accept objections for a maximum of 10 individuals.
