Iran's President has made it clear to Trump: "Do whatever you please."
Iran's President Masoud Pajeshekian has firmly stated that Tehran will not engage in any discussions under the threats and pressures from the United States regarding its nuclear program. He directed his remarks towards U.S. President Donald Trump, asserting, "Do whatever you wish." This information was reported by Iran's state media on Tuesday.
According to the report citing Pajeshekian, he emphasized, "It is entirely unacceptable for them (the United States) to issue commands and threats. I will not enter into discussions under such circumstances. Do whatever you wish."
Previously, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei remarked on Saturday that threats will not compel Tehran to enter negotiations. His comments followed a day after Trump announced that he had sent a letter to Iran proposing discussions for a new nuclear agreement.
