The People's Rights Council has held a sit-in and mass signature program demanding a ban on Awami League politics.

The Dhaka South Metropolitan People's Rights Council organized this program in front of the National Press Club at around 11:30 am on Saturday.

Rashed Khan, General Secretary of the People's Rights Council, said, Awami League is not a party. It is a murder mafia and a mass murderer. Under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, 2,000 students and the public were shot dead. Another 30,000 fighters were injured. The interim government could not rehabilitate the injured. We do not even know the names of many advisors properly. The Home Affairs Advisor has been on duty for so long and has not been able to fix law and order in Bangladesh. When the devil hunt started, the thieves fled to India, America, and Europe. How many good people were there who did this to the Awami League? What kind of clean image do they have. Those who were ordinary people did not shoot at the students and the public. We will not oppress them, we will give them a break, but that will be after the genocide trial.

He said, civil revolutionaries want to rehabilitate the Awami League. They will become millionaires by killing others' rights. That is why I did not come to politics. Various scams including some students named coordinators have come to the fore. We were not ready for these. There is still time to stop them and do people's politics. This is our last chance. Bangladesh must be rebuilt. People will not accept if we delay elections.

He said, the advisors' faces really turn black when it comes to elections. They learn from Moinuddin-Fakhruddin. If we do politics in the style of the Awami League, our downfall will be like the Awami League.

Senior Vice President Faruk Khan said, the genocidal Awami League has no right to do politics. The interim government is responsible for the sudden processions of the Chhatra League terrorists. They are showing courage because there are Awami League's allies on the right and left. They have not been able to bring them to justice yet. This government does not have the courage to stand trial.
