The police have initiated an investigation into the actions of Israeli soldiers.

 

The Israeli military police are investigating at least six incidents involving the use of civilian residents as human shields by occupying forces in Gaza. This inquiry was initiated in response to a report released by the Red Cross in January of this year.

According to a report by Middle East Monitor on Thursday, March 13, the Red Cross highlighted instances of abuse inflicted by occupying Israeli soldiers on Palestinians.

In light of these findings, the Israeli police have commenced their investigation, which includes examining potential abuses in the Netzarim corridor of Gaza. A report by the media outlet Haaretz claims that civilians in this corridor were indiscriminately shot after being labeled as "terrorists." 

International news agencies have been documenting Israel's use of Palestinians as human shields for several months.
