The trainer who revived Tamim's spirit stated, "At one point, I thought I would lose him."

 

Everything was happening in an instant. Tamim Iqbal was foaming at the mouth, his body was getting cold. He couldn't even breathe properly. Yakub Ali Chowdhury didn't waste time. He came forward to revive Tamim. This trainer from Mohammedan was with Tamim the entire way, keeping Tamim alive as much as possible.

Yesterday, Yakub told the long story of that short journey in a Facebook post. He immediately started Tamim's heart beating with CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). At one point while sitting in the ambulance, he also thought, 'I don't think it will be possible to bring him back.' However, all fears have been overcome for now. Tamim is back. His physical condition has improved, a heart ring has been put on his heart. Tamim is even walking.

On Monday night, Yakub wrote, 'I will never forget today. Not to be forgotten. I was with Tamim brother the whole time - from the field, the ambulance to the hospital. Debu Dada (Deb Chowdhury) was with us in the ambulance. Dada was sitting in the ambulance communicating with everyone. I didn't know what to do. I was very scared!'

Yakub was by Tamim's side during that terrible time, he was scared. This trainer wants Tamim to recover quickly, 'At one point I felt like I was going to lose you. But I kept my mind strong and applied CPR. I'm not in a position to tell or write in full details. I keep remembering your frozen body in the ambulance. It seems like everything is happening in a dream. After giving 250-300 CPR, when I got a little response, I got a little water in my liver. I can only say this, you came back to us completely healthy.'

Tamim was able to walk this morning. He shared about those times in a post this afternoon. Earlier in the morning, Tamim thanked trainer Yakub.
