A fire broke out in a Bangladeshi home in New York, resulting in the loss of three lives.
A fire incident occurred at the residence of expatriate Bangladeshis in New York, USA. Late Sunday night, a blaze at the home of Bangladeshi expatriate Mizbah Mahmood in Jamaica resulted in the deaths of three individuals. Additionally, four others were injured in the incident, including a member of the fire department and two Bangladeshis.
It has been reported that all the deceased were Mexican citizens. The police have not disclosed the names of the victims as part of the investigation. The homeowner, Mizbah, is currently receiving treatment at Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire may have originated from an electrical short circuit.
Local residents have indicated that the house was often overcrowded, with many occupants being bachelors. The fire department is actively working to determine the cause of the fire.
