Israeli drone strike in Beirut raises concerns of significant casualties.

According to local Lebanese media reports, Israeli drones and later warplanes targeted the Al-Hadath area in the Dahiya area of southern Beirut on Sunday, causing a large number of casualties.

Al-Manar TV reported that before the attack, the occupying Israeli forces issued an immediate evacuation order for residents of the Al-Hadath area. An Israeli drone then carried out an initial attack on the area.

Later, Israeli drones carried out several more attacks and a third attack on a specific location in the Hadath area.

Al-Manar reported that the area where the evacuation order was issued is mainly a densely populated residential area. There are no military installations here.

The Israeli attack came at a time when a ceasefire agreement signed between Hezbollah and Israel is still officially in force.

Although the agreement has been in effect since last November, Hezbollah has accused Israel of violating the agreement thousands of times.

The Times of Israel, largely acknowledging the incident, reported that today's attack was the third Israeli airstrike on Beirut since the ceasefire.

According to the Times of Israel report, Israel claims that it targeted a Hezbollah weapons depot.

However, Hezbollah directly denied this claim, saying that Israel attacked a densely populated residential area. However, there is no detailed information about the damage or casualties in the attack yet. Source: Meher News
