A helicopter crashed in Uttarakhand, resulting in the deaths of five tourists.

 

Five tourists have been killed after a helicopter crashed in Uttarakhand, India. The helicopter crashed near Uttarkashi in the state on Thursday morning.

NDTV says that there were about six people on board, of whom five were killed and one was injured. The helicopter, which was loaded with passengers, was heading from Dehradun to the Harsil helipad.

The report said that police, army, disaster management teams and ambulances have left for the scene near Uttarkashi.
