Alia has been appointed as the head of the Punjab political committee by Imran Khan.

 

The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed Alia Hamza as the head of the political committee in Punjab.

It has been reported that Imran Khan, while incarcerated, expressed strong objections to the formation of a four-member political committee in Punjab. He instructed the PTI leadership to appoint Alia Hamza as the head of the political committee. Subsequently, in accordance with that directive, Alia Hamza was designated as the head of the political committee in Punjab.

Previously, the political committee formed by PTI leaders included Salman Akram Raja, Omar Ayub Khan, and Usman Akram. The PTI leaders informed Imran Khan about the formation of this high-ranking committee, which was deemed to be of higher status than Alia Hamza. However, Imran Khan raised objections to this decision. Later, a message regarding Alia Hamza was sent to the PTI leadership through Senator Ali Zafar.
