Brazil finally secures Ancelotti after reaching an agreement with Real Madrid.

 

After being eliminated from the Champions League, losing the Copa del Rey title to arch-rivals Barcelona; at least the Brazilian fans were happy to see Real Madrid in such a miserable state. They were hoping that coach Carlo Ancelotti would be fired from Real. Because that would have cleared the way for this famous Italian coach to become Brazil's coach.

However, in the end, Real president Florentino Perez intervened. Ancelotti has not been fired and has been retained in charge. And if that continues, Ancelotti will have to stay at Real until June 2026. As a result, Brazil will have to suffer the pain of not getting it. However, in the meantime, there is hope that Brazil is going to reach an agreement with Real. And if that happens, Brazil's dream of getting Ancelotti will finally be fulfilled.

Of course, there are some ifs and buts in this. Brazil has had to face disappointment in not getting Ancelotti twice before. Brazil then wants to wait a few more days for Ancelotti.

The CBF wants to appoint their new coach by May 26. Because they will have to play against Ecuador and Paraguay in the World Cup qualifiers in early June. That is why the squads, including Brazil, will have to be announced in advance. That is why Brazil wants to make a final decision on the coach before that.

Meanwhile, Ancelotti does not want to break his contract with Real and go to Brazil. He hopes that Real will fire him. In that case, he will get the full amount of the contract.
