If shots are fired from that side, then shells will be launched from this side: Modi
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India should respond more strongly to every move by Pakistan. Modi's statement came after the exchange of fire and ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
This information was reported by NDTV in a report on Sunday (May 11) citing Indian government sources.
The report said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi instructed the Indian Army, 'Oha se goli chalegi, ihsa se gola chalega' (If firing is done from there, firing will be done from here).
Indian sources have described this as a turning point, especially India's attack on Pakistan's air base.
Earlier, India launched a military operation called 'Operation Sindoor' and attacked several places in Pakistan. These attacks were carried out using weapons launched from Indian fighter jets.
On the other hand, Islamabad launched a counter-operation called 'Bunyanum Marsus' against the country in response to the Indian attack. Both countries have claimed to have repelled most of the missile and drone attacks. Even then, both countries have admitted to some damage in the attacks.
Meanwhile, direct talks are scheduled between India and Pakistan on Monday (May 12) to discuss ways to permanently end the war.
Indian media outlet The Economic Times reported that a 'hotline' message was sent to the Pakistani army by the Indian army on Sunday. The military of the two countries will hold talks at the level of 'Director General of Military Operations' (DGMO) of the two militaries at 12 noon on Monday.
